Lisa Hall

Training/Sales/Lessons

USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medalist

From the time she was a little girl racing through the zoo to reach the ponies, horses have been at the heart of Lisa’s life. When her family moved from Stuttgart to Heidelberg, Germany, her mother promised her riding lessons—and Lisa eagerly packed her bags. At just seven years old, she leased her first pony, a cheeky little character who often sent her tumbling, but instead of being discouraged, she was hooked for life.

Though her parents initially resisted her desire to pursue horses professionally, Lisa’s determination never wavered. After college, her father gave her one year to prove she could make it in the industry. She never looked back. Along the way, she’s been guided by incredible mentors, including Corinna Klein, Stephen Birchall, Olivia LaGoy-Weltz, and Klaus Schengber, each shaping her journey as both a rider and an instructor.

Specializing in dressage, Lisa has built a career defined by both personal achievements and student successes. She is a USDF Gold medalist, and Silver, and Bronze medalist with Distinction, a USDF “L” Graduate, and USDF Certified Instructor/ Trainer through Fourth Level. She has competed and placed at Regionals at the FEI, earned multiple year-end and all-breed awards, and is proudly sponsored by Trilogy Performance Saddlery, Purina, and Saddle Bird Boutique. Among her proudest accomplishments is earning her USDF Gold medal on a horse she trained herself from green to Grand Prix.

Equally rewarding for her, however, are her students’ achievements. From helping beginners discover the joy of their first “lightbulb” moment to watching riders earn their USDF medals and climb the levels with their own horses, she finds inspiration in every milestone. Known for her structured, straightforward, yet encouraging teaching style, she prioritizes the horse’s well-being and the rider’s safety, guiding students of all ages and levels with clarity and passion.

Life outside the arena is just as meaningful for Lisa—she enjoys traveling, hiking, and cooking, and treasures the time she shares with her husband and their two dogs, Taína and Benny. Whether it’s the quiet sound of horses munching hay, the softness of a muzzle, or the magic of teaching a horse to dance, Lisa feels lucky every day to live her passion. Looking ahead, she aspires to become a USDF Certified Instructor/Examiner, continue training horses to Grand Prix, and one day ride her first musical freestyle. Above all, she is dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive environment where every rider feels supported, celebrated, and inspired on their journey.

Elgin (Merle) Panichelle

Barn Manager

My grandfather often said, “You are branded at birth if you are a horse person. And if you are—embellish.” I was certainly branded.

As an Army brat, I moved from fort to fort, but my constant was always a horse. My earliest lessons came from cavalry soldiers, and those experiences planted the seeds of horsemanship that never left me. After college, my path shifted, and for more than two decades I dedicated myself to a nursing career. As a Registered Nurse, I worked in many capacities and eventually owned and administered a personal care home, specializing in geriatric nursing until my retirement in 2020.

Horses, however, remained part of my heart. While boarding in Ligonier and training with Lisa Hall, an unexpected opportunity changed everything. When the barn manager was dismissed, I stepped forward and applied for the role. Within 30 days, I founded Full Circle Dressage Stable, LLC—a new chapter and a lifelong calling brought Full Circle.

Today, I am honored to serve as Lisa Hall’s barn manager, where I combine my organizational experience with my passion for horses and the equestrian community. Much has happened already, but I believe the best is still to come.
